About Me: I believe that authenticity, joy and, generosity are qualities that are worth cultivating and embodying everyday, at both work and play. I strive to live my life deeply connected to Divine love. This informs all that I do with compassion and grace.
My passion is hiking and being in the wild outdoors which is why I now live on land across from the sea, with hiking trails at my back door. Another passion of mine is doing Qigong movements on the beach with trees and ocean all around. It’s my bliss - deeply replenishing, connecting, and calming!
About My Photography Sessions: I get really excited when you book a photo session with me! Because it is a new opportunity for me to connect with you, your unique location, and vision. And to express and share my passion for visual artistry, my photography skill, and my generous, connected, fun yet professional way of being in our time together. It also allows me to create with you a beautiful, relaxed and enjoyable photography experience - where you get to be authentically you. When you touch this place of relaxed authenticity, your essence shines forth, making for a most enjoyable, memorable photography session and gorgeous keepsake images.

My photography and watercolour and acrylic paintings have been recognized and honoured in university galleries, in group and solo shows, and in fine art competitions. I bring this artistry and knowledge to each photo I compose so your innate beauty and radiance will be seen and captured - every time!

I have a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Fine Arts from the University of BC, as well as diploma courses in Lightroom and Photoshop. I continue to hone my craft so I bring you the highest quality Digital photography.

With over 30 years as a fine artist and photographer, I continue to feel the thrill of creating beautiful images. From my work as both a nature and portrait photographer, originally shooting film and now digital.

My passion is hiking and being in the wild outdoors with its breathtaking beauty. Nature, with its kaleidoscope of natural light and moods, inspires me. And awakens my passion as an artist. It is a joy to capture on camera the beauty of a person or group in the beauty of the natural outdoors!

As a former teacher librarian, I know how to flex and relate to a myriad of different personalities and needs. I am professional and organized, And I have a warm, personable nature that creates an authentic connection. Even the most camera shy clients relax when in my presence and love their photo session.

A favourite testimonial from a branding shoot was, “Oh my, I am really beautiful.” And from the mom of a bride (who didn’t like to have her photo taken) when she saw the photos of her daughter’s wedding, “You are really talented!”
I travel.
I am a West Coast photographer. For the adventurous, I love the shoreline trails and beaches of the Southern Gulf Islands and the mountain trails and lakes around Whistler and Squamish. These are among my favourite locations to photograph as they are several of my favourite locations to experience the beauty of nature! For those who prefer to stay closer to home, I have taken gorgeous family and branding photos at the seashore and wooded parks of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Any natural setting lends itself to beautiful images!
