All the beautiful behind-the-scene details so you as bride & groom let loose on your special day!
This outdoor session has two hidden gifts. One, to build your trust and comfort with me and my camera so that you both forget I’m there and allow me to witness the secret beauty of your love.
As you relax into who you are as a couple while in front of the lens, I am discovering how to best capture your unique physical qualities and personality on my camera. It is a magical journey that we get to explore together.
Your wedding day is all about you!
I will capture both your inner and outer beauty of you as a couple. Which is why I want to know who you are. Like some of the details of where and how you met, what your favourite activities and expressions are together.
I also want to hear about your wedding attire such as the colours of your accents, what flowers will be in your bouquet, and how you will wear your hair. This helps me prepare so I capture your unique essence. One bride wore a contrasting pair of red shoes and a groom wore a black tuxedo with black n’ white checkered runners. I want to plan to capture these details on camera.
If you have a special place you met or a pose that you’ve seen in a magazine that you love. Let me know so I can include this in our session together!
I like to capture the First Look and other informal poses of Bride & Groom a day or two before the wedding day. Why? Because there is no rush or pressure in keeping anyone waiting. Which results in gorgeous timeless images!
The friends and family you choose to stand with you on your wedding day reflect the beauty of who you are.
In order to capture this unique flavour and energy, it’s important to consider the personality of you as a couple within this wedding group. And also the outer features - such as dress & flower colour scheme, season of year, settings for group shots, and groomsman attire. When there is a theme, the overall photo results go from good to extraordinary.
I know this from my own experience as a bride with a wedding party of pale blue bridalmaid dresses and groomsmen ties alongside Christmas holly arrangements and brown furnishings with grey winter rains. It was such a mismatch of colours that the photos were deeply disappointing.
My desire for your wedding party photos is one where you not only cherish your partner but also your photo memories!
The family and friends you’ve invited to share your wedding day are important!
Let me know who the special people are so I capture each one. I will take these shots both formally and informally throughout the ceremony and celebration.
